A Rude Awakening

The Awakening, by J. Seward Johnson, was moved from Hains Point to National Harbor, Washington DC, in 2008, not long before I happened to stop over there for a few days.

The Bloukrans Bridge is apparently the world’s highest single arch bridge, 216m above the Bloukrans River – forming the border between the Eastern and Western Cape provinces. However, the Tsitsikamma Lodge claims to have the world’s smallest bungee jump.

What does this have to do with internautiness? Not a lot really: it’s not even particularly close to the Bot River, though it’s quite close to Stormsrivier. But you really need to be an AV nerd to get much joy out of that.
